It’s interesting to note that in TCM, Summer is divided into Early and Late Summer seasons, each associated with different organs and meridians. Early Summer, which lasts from May to late July, is linked to the Heart and Small Intestine meridians and the element of Fire. Late Summer, August to late September, on the other hand, corresponds to the Spleen and Stomach meridians and the Earth element.
